I’m with you Trayvon.
Remember how fast the Kony movement took off? Well that kind of went to shit.. So I’m going to start my own. And please don’t get it twisted folks, this won’t require any donations or compensation. All I’m asking for is justice to be served. To the man that killed 17 year old Trayvon Martin… Yesterday afternoon, I posted a picture of myself wearing my hoodie, accompanied by a can of Arizona Iced tea, and a bag of Skittles. Both items, including a hoodie, were found on the dead body of Trayvon. “I’m with you Trayvon” is what the caption said. What that signifies is that I am just like Trayvon. On occasions, you’ll find me sipping on some sweet tea like it’s going out of style. The same can be said for the candy. As far as the hoodie is concerned, I wear a hoodie every single day, regardless of the weather. Not because I’m a hoodrat, but I only wear one because I think that shit is comfy.. Simple as that. Now what truly saddens me is that not one single person left me any feedback on my photo. Now it may have gone ignored because nobody had any idea what I was directing with the photo.. Which in all honestly is probably the reason why a blind eye was turned against it. Or perhaps you people did know, but had assumed that I had posted it for attention. Well yes, I posted it for attention, but not to improve my reputation. I did it for Trayvon, and for everybody else on here. To show that we are all the same, regardless of any disadvantage, skin color, religious belief, or ethnic background that you may carry. We all need to accept that fact, because it is killing us. Now if you have no clue what I’m talking about, do your research. Once you’ve gathered enough information about this, post a picture of yourself with a hoodie on. Title the caption “I’m with you Trayvon” Now only post the picture if you truly care, don’t do it to be in with the crowd. If one little youtube video can start a movement, then my little facebook picture is capable of doing the same thing. Lets bring his killer to justice.
